About
Chartered in May of 2011, Garin PTA has helped serve Garin Elementary School and their families for more than a decade. We enjoy bringing the community together through programs and fundraisers such as our Fall Carnival, Math, Science and Literacy Nights, Halloween Party, Sweetheart Dance and many other events. We support the teachers and staff with classroom donations, a teacher luncheon and celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week. We support our students by helping fund field trips and assemblies. Funds left over at the end of the year are often used for large purchases such as sets of chrome books or a new Marquee. We are excited for this new school year and all of the ways we can continue to serve our school community.

Tracy Nelson - President
Tracy Nelson has volunteered at Garin since 2016 and has been on the Garin PTA Board since 2017. She has served as President, Vice President, Treasurer and Auditor. Tracy is a full-time Realtor in the community at Keller Williams. She donates and volunteers for various local non-profits. Tracy has resided in Brentwood since 2007 and has 4 children.
Carrie Millan- Financial Secretary
Monique Cooper- Secretary
A mother of four kiddos with the last one making his way into TK this year. Monique is excited to become part of the Garin PTA family. She will take the place as Secretary this year.
Candice Bailey- Auditor/Communications
Wife and mother of 3, Candice Bailey has been a Garin parent since 2014. With the birth of her 3rd child and deciding to leave work as a preschool teacher in 2019, she finally made it to a PTA meeting. Candice has served as PTA Secretary for the last 2 years and looks forward to this new role and school year.
